The State Bank Of India (SBI) recently published the latest notification for the Clerk post recruitment 2024 all around India. There are 13,735 number of vacancies released for the year of 2024.

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in State Bank of India (SBI). a. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project.

The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State/UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State/UT (mentioned in the under given vacancy table against each state/UT).

SBI Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales)/Clerk Recruitment 2024-25

Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter State Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited.

Preliminary Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of February 2025 and Main Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of March/April 2025.

Candidate has to opt for ONE language at the time of online application for local language test. @ Persons with benchmark disabilities under clauses (d) & (e) of section 34 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPWD Act, 2016).

Candidates applying for the states of Maharashtra (Maharashtra Circle / Mumbai Metro Circle), Uttar Pradesh (Delhi Circle / Lucknow Circle) and Haryana (New Delhi Circle / Chandigarh Circle) should check operational areas for which they desire to apply from SBI’s official website https://sbi.co.in. [On Home page> Branch Locator (Bottom right Drop pin icon) > In search options select Circle > Select Circle name > Enter Captcha]. Please note that there is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited.

Age Limit (As on 01.04.2024)

Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2024, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1996 and not later than 01.04.2004 (both days inclusive).

Essential Academic Qualifications (As on 31.12.2024)

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2024.

Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2024.

PAY SCALE

The starting Basic Pay is Rs.26730/- (Rs.24050/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).

Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank’s website https://bank.sbi/web/careers/current-openings OR https://www.sbi.co.in/web/careers/current-openings – Recruitment of Junior Associates 2024. After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking.
