PM Kisan 19th Installment 2025: The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme is a flagship initiative by the Government of India aimed at providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers across the country. Launched in February 2019, this scheme has been instrumental in supporting farmers by transferring a fixed amount directly to their bank accounts. The 19th installment of this scheme is set to be disbursed on February 24, 2025, marking another milestone in its successful implementation.

PM Kisan Scheme Features

• Direct Financial Assistance: Each registered farmer receives ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments of ₹2,000.
• Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT): Ensures transparency by transferring funds directly to beneficiaries’ Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
• Nationwide Coverage: Over 9.5 crore farmers have benefited from this scheme since its inception.
• Focus on Small Farmers: Targets small and marginal farmers owning up to 2 hectares of cultivable land.

Eligibility Criteria For 19th Installment

• Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
• Land Ownership: Should own cultivable land up to 2 hectares.
• Occupation: Must be a small or marginal farmer actively engaged in agriculture.
• Income Restrictions: Should not have filed income tax or receive a pension exceeding ₹10,000 per month.
• Exclusions: Institutional landholders, government employees (except Group D), and professionals like doctors or engineers are not eligible.
