Under the Education Department, recruitment for 11-month contract-based posts for Sports Assistants (Khel Sahayak) in government primary schools of Gujarat state has been announced. Samagra Shiksha (SS) invited only online applications for this recruitment 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at khelsahayak.ssgujarat.org/ from 01/03/2025 to 07/03/2025.

Whenever candidates are called in person for verification of certificates, they will have to be present with a printout of the online application, a photocopy of each of the required certificates, a passport size photograph, and original certificates for verification.
Qualifications
Talking about the qualification of Sports Assistant, if you have completed Graduation from any discipline + C.P.ED./D.P.ED or B.P.ED and apart from this, if you have done B.A. In Yoga, B.Sc. In Yoga or B.P.E and have a degree in it, then you can apply for Sports Assistant recruitment.
Candidates who have passed the Sports Aptitude Test (CAT) conducted by the State Examination Board in the year 2023 can also apply for the contract-based recruitment of Sports Assistants in government primary schools. According to the Sports Assistant Scheme, the selection list will be prepared on the basis of the Sports Aptitude Test (SAT) of the candidate.
Age Limit, Salary & More!
The selected candidate for Sports Assistant will be eligible for a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 21,000 with a maximum honorarium. The age limit of the candidate wishing to apply for this recruitment should not be more than 38 years as on the last date of application.
The period of work of Sports Assistants will be 11 months which will be automatically considered cancelled after the completion of 11 months excluding vacation.
